What have we been up to this term.
It’s been a busy summer term at nursery with lots of different activities happening. The children have enjoyed lots of summer themed activities including water play and different scented play dough (as an ice parlour). All children enjoyed visits from Burt’s Amazing Creatures, sports day, and end of term parties.
Main door
Can all parents wait outside the main door and not in nursery foyer, there is limited space, and we often have private conversations with other parents. Please ring the bell if no one comes to the door.
Lost Property
We have a number of items with no names in. Please check you are not missing any items for your child.
September 2023
Nursery will reopen on Wednesday 6th September. Our Nursery Open Day will be on Tuesday 5th September at 9.30-11 and 1.30-3.00pm. Please let a member of staff know what session you are coming too if you want to come. Parents are invited to stay and play with their children and have a chat with staff.
Polite reminder
Now that we have warmer weather please can all children have suncream lotion on before they attend nursery please. Can all children bring a named bottle also to be kept in their bag. Please do not forget to bring in spare clothes for your child as we are running very low. If your child does not bring in spare clothes, they will not be able to play outside, or we might be calling you to bring in dry/ clean clothes to nursery. Please can you make sure all items of clothing and belongings are named. We cannot take responsibility if they are not named. Can all parents make sure that they provide sufficient wet wipes and nappies for each of their child’s sessions. Thank you.
Children going to school.
We want to say good luck to all the children leaving us this summer. We hope you have lots of fun at big school but are sad to see you go. Good luck with everything and make sure you let us know how you are getting on.
Sessions in September
Can all parents who haven’t spoken to Laura or Joanne about September hours please speak to them. We return to Nursery Wednesday 6th September. We hope everyone has a lovely summer holiday J
